When someone sends a Mustr (Broadcast, Status Check, RFI, or Direct Message), their team members are notified via SMS (text message). That SMS contains a secure response link: a unique secure link that lets team members quickly respond without needing to:

  • Open the app

  • Log in manually

Instead, the link recognizes the team member by their phone number and securely connects the response to their account.

Secure response links expire in 30 days

To improve security and reduce confusion from delayed responses, secure response links now expire after 30 days.

What Happens After 30 Days?

  • Clicking an expired link will show a message saying that the link has expired

  • To respond, the team member will need to open the AOK app

Why This Matters

  • Security: Prevents old links from being accessed or shared by mistake

  • Timeliness: Encourages faster, more relevant responses from your team

What You Should Do

  • Let your team know they have 30 days to respond to any SMS link

  • Encourage them to act on messages promptly

  • If someone mentions their link isn’t working, have them check the date they received the link, and if the message is available in the app.
