Sharing the QR Code
You can share the QR code in three ways:
Mobile Interface: Share directly from your device.
Print It: Print the QR code for physical distribution.
Desktop Download: Click "Download QR Code" on the Connect page to save it locally.
Security Guidelines
To keep your organization secure:
Only post in secure, access-controlled environments (e.g., internal portals, company chat with permission levels).
Do NOT share in public, unmonitored, or external channels (e.g., public forums, social media, or email threads).
Revoking a QR Code
You can revoke a QR code at any time if it’s no longer needed or if you believe it may have been compromised.
⚠️ Note: Revoking a QR code only prevents future use. Anyone who already used the code and joined will remain in the organization or team.
QR Code Expiry
Each QR code is valid for 24 hours by default from the time of generation.
Org and Team Leaders can modify the expiration timeframe in the AOK app, with a maximum validity of up to 30 days.
After expiration, the QR code cannot be used, even if the invite limit hasn't been reached. You will have to generate a new QR code.
Best Practices
Set a reasonable invite limit based on your use case.
Revoke unused codes proactively if there's any doubt about their security.
Always double-check that you're generating the correct type of invite (Org vs. Team).
If you have further questions or need help revoking a QR code, please contact your command or our support team.
