(NEW LOOK) Submitting an RFI Response with an Image

Learn how to answer to a Request For Information by uploading a document or image along with your response.

Updated: May 2026

Using the legacy version? Find that guide here.

In addition to selecting or writing a response, you can also upload an image, PDF, or other file to an RFI (Request for Information) to provide visual documentation or supporting materials.

This is especially useful for things like proof of completion, verification of a record, photos of site conditions, screenshots, signed forms, and more.

To submit an RFI response with an image or file:

Tap on the RFI you want to respond to from your inbox or notification list.

You can select a response if prompted or simply tap Select files if you're only attaching a file.

Select from the available options: Upload Image, Upload PDF, Upload .docx, Upload spreadsheet (.xlsx), or Upload Powerpoint (.ppt).

You will then be prompted to name your file.

Once uploaded, the attached files will display as “File 1,” “File 2,” etc., in the order of the upload, instead of the custom file name you entered.

The custom name is only used later to help identify the file in the Files folder. File previews are not available during upload, so double-check that you selected the correct files before submitting.

Once doing uploading, tap Submit Response to complete. Your file will be sent along with any other RFI question(s) responses.

Things to Keep in Mind:

  • You can attach multiple files if needed (images, PDFs, etc.).

  • You can only upload 4 files MAX per question

  • Files are uploaded to the Files folder immediately after selection. If you remove a file from your RFI response before submitting, the file will still remain in the Files folder. Be sure to delete any accidentally uploaded or irrelevant files from the Files folder if needed.
